Info
When Bonterra acquired Deed, its employee giving and volunteering platform, the product needed more than a new logo; it needed a new voice that fit the Bonterra ecosystem without losing what made Deed distinct. I led end-to-end copy for the migration, rewriting the product story across every surface a prospect or customer would encounter. This included two customer case study refreshes (Instacart and Zuora), the core product and CSR pricing pages, and six solution pages spanning gamification, employee resource groups, ESG reporting, disaster relief, deskless workers, and nonprofit use cases. To support the transition itself, we also pushed a coordinated web activation with pop-ups, banners, and side modals that guided existing Deed audiences to their new platform. The work is a study in migration copy with the goal of preserving brand equity and customer trust while re-anchoring an entire product narrative inside a larger company’s voice and architecture.
