Ascension Foundation Partnership with Meharry Medical College

This report synthesized the outcomes of a three-year, $1.2 million partnership with Ascension Saint Thomas Foundation, which supported scholarships, clinical rotations, and community outreach at Meharry Medical College. It combined narrative storytelling, program data, student voices, and funding reallocation details into a cohesive stewardship piece that both honored the partnership and posited future opportunities for support. The project was designed not just to report on impact, but to reinforce trust, demonstrate accountability, and encourage continued investment. It contributed to a $25K gift toward Campaign 150 and a renewed $350K annual commitment supporting PA-Next (a mentorship and pipeline program addressing the underrepresentation of African American men in the physician assistant profession), GOALS (Go Out And Love Science), and an AI-powered academic success platform.
