Prospect Profile & Proposal Pitch: Scarlett Family Foundation

This profile did more than assess fit between Meharry’s Medical School Early Acceptance Program (MSEAP) and the Scarlett Family Foundation’s focus on college and career readiness in Middle Tennessee. It doubled as a pitch deck, one I shared with an MSEAP program director at MTSU to gauge interest in collaborating on a joint request for additional support. The deck synthesized funder priorities, giving patterns, and program-expansion opportunities into a cultivation tool built to start a conversation—positioning prospect research not as the end of a singular process, but as the opening move in building the coalition a serious ask requires.
